TLDR: A gripping end to an amazing series. This book sees Aranthur and co fight with sword, puffer, and power through the final machinations of The Master in this clever, intense, and highly entertaining conclusion.

Demon in White: Sun Eater, Book 3

Rating: 5.0 Star

TLDR: Our third outing into the Sun Eater universe is even better than the last. Enough action to keep the heart pumping and enough depth to keep your brain doing flips. A brilliant example of melding complex hard sci-fi within accessible, engaging prose.

TLDR: An unforgettable adventure as a band of old heroes are dragged out of retirement to take one last desperate quest. It’s an R-rated Diskworld, and I loved every bloody second of it. 

Legionnaire + Galactic Outlaw: Galaxy’s Edge, Book 1 + 2

Rating: 5.0 star

TLDR: Amazing. Just amazing. Pacing? Non-stop. Characters? Wonderful. Narrative? Utterly absorbing. A perfect sci-fi story that weaves a tale of war, adventure, and vengeance through the stars.

Light Bringer: Red Rising, Book 6

Rating: 5.0 star

TLDR: Another phenomenal instalment in a truly phenomenal series. Brilliant action, crippling heartbreak, immensely deep characters, this book has it all in spades.

Orconomics: The Dark Profit, Book 1

Rating: 5.0 star

TLDR: Fantasy satire at its finest. Hilarious universe, wonderful characters, and a story that hits far harder than you think it would. Amazing from start to finish.

Terran Armor Corps: Volume 2

Rating: 5.0 star

TLDR: A brilliant story with brutally satisfying action and a plot that will leave your jaw swinging more than once. Superb.

The Free Bastards: The Lot Lands, Book 3

Rating: 5.0 star

TLDR: Blood, swearing, twists, and laughter. This book is truly a worthy conclusion to what has been an entertaining, heart-racing, and utterly unique trilogy.
